AnewHealth to Offer Continuing Education Credits for PACE Provider Orientation

Training will help new PACE providers better understand the PACE model and play a more impactful role within the interdisciplinary team

CLEVELAND, OH and MOORESTOWN, NJ (July 15, 2025) – AnewHealth, a national pharmacy care management provider that improves healthcare outcomes for people with complex, chronic medical needs, today announced that PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) providers can receive AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for upcoming training provided by Capstone Risk Adjustment Services, an AnewHealth solution.

The training, PCP and Medical Director Orientation to PACE, is designed to set new PACE providers up for success within the PACE environment and culture. Physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who attend can now earn up to 9 credits for participation.

A new course will be held in September through a group-setting webinar format led by Marc Grushan, MD, and Elizabeth Hengstebeck, DO, who serve as medical consultants with Capstone and were previously medical directors in PACE. Training sessions include:

  • Thursday, September 4 – The PACE Way and Your PACE Day (2 credits)
  • Tuesday, September 9 – PACE Revenue and Expenses (1 credit)
  • Thursday, September 11 – Assessments and IDT Care Plans (1 credit)
  • Tuesday, September 16 – Geriatric and Palliative Care Principles (1 credit)
  • Thursday, September 18 – Advance Care Planning (1 credit)
  • Tuesday, September 23 – PACE Regulations (1 credit)
  • Thursday, September 25 – Final Jeopardy Review Session (1 credit)
  • Tuesday, September 30 – Quality and Utilization Review for Medical Directors (1 credit)
