Michael Awadalla, PharmD, BCGP

Executive Vice President, PACE Clinical & Pharmacy Operations

Michael Awadalla is Executive Vice President, PACE Clinical & Pharmacy Operations at AnewHealth. In this role, he leads the clinical and operational strategy for the organization’s PACE pharmacy services, overseeing a multidisciplinary team of more than 100 pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. His work is focused on advancing medication safety, strengthening operational performance, and delivering innovative pharmacy solutions tailored to the needs of complex, high-risk populations.

Michael joined Tabula Rasa HealthCare in 2011 as a clinical pharmacist with CareKinesis, after building a strong foundation in pharmacy leadership within a large national pharmacy organization. He quickly progressed into broader leadership roles, later serving as Director of Clinical Pharmacy Operations for CareKinesis. In that capacity, he helped shape and execute strategic initiatives focused on clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and scalable service delivery.

In 2016, Michael served as a lead stakeholder in the design and launch of TRHC’s Enhanced Medication Therapy Management and Pharmacovigilance programs, initiatives that expanded the organization’s ability to identify medication-related risk and support safer, more effective care. In 2019, his responsibilities broadened to include oversight of all PACE clinical and pharmacy operations, further establishing his role as a key leader in the advancement of specialized pharmacy services for PACE organizations.

Michael is a licensed pharmacist and earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. He is also board certified in geriatric pharmacy.
